Cash concentration creation

Creation of new cash concentration automation rule

To create a new cash concentration rule, click on ‘New rule’ or on the + floating button.

Zero balance automation

To create cash pools where accounts are swept until their balance is zero, select a Zero balance automation.

Select the account(s) from which you would like to automatically sweep funds from until their balance is Zero (source), and the account where those funds would be swept to (master). More than one source account can be selected at this time. Only active accounts can participate in cash concentration automations.

Then, define the frequency at which the automation should be executed, and its start of execution date and time in the desired time zone. The automation will be executed based on the account statement for the day in which the rule meets its frequency.

After review, send the rule for authorization to an approver.

Custom balance automation

To create payment automations based on the balance of the source account, select a Custom balance automation.

Select the account from which you would like to automatically sweep funds from (source), and the account where those funds would be swept to (master). Furthermore, if you would like to ensure a minimum balance to your source account, activate the ‘Automate source account funding’ functionality, and select the account from which you would like to fund the source account. Only active accounts can participate in cash concentration automations.

Select upper and lower thresholds to determine when the automation rule meets criteria, and the target balance to be left in the account once the rule is executed and funds are transferred. Then, define the frequency at which the automation should be executed, and its start of execution date and time. The automation will be executed based on the account statement for the day in which the rule meets its frequency.

Before sending a new cash concentration rule for authorisation or saving as a draft (depending on user permissions), review its components in a comprehensive way.

Status

Rules can be created as drafts before sending for authorisation, and for some users with limited permissions, this might be the only option. Active rules can be temporarily paused, period during which no payments will be initiated by the rule. Rules can also be cancelled, terminal status which will stop any future payments, while keeping all historical data related to the rule.
