Core capabilities
Understanding LYNKS core capabilities helps you navigate the platform effectively and leverage its full potential.
Granular access control
LYNKS implements role-based access control with granular permissions that determine which features, accounts, and payment categories each user can access. Administrators configure permission sets aligned with your organization's policies, ensuring users see only the content and actions relevant to their responsibilities.
The platform enforces the principle of least privilege, granting users the minimum permissions necessary to perform their duties. This security-first approach protects sensitive financial data while maintaining operational efficiency.
Multi-tenant architecture
Each organization operates as an independent tenant within LYNKS, with complete data isolation and separation. Users who require access to multiple organizations (such as service providers or holding company personnel) can switch between tenants using the tenant switcher in the head-up display.
Every tenant maintains independent configuration, including users, permissions, signatory rules, payment categories, and feature flags. This architecture ensures your data remains private and secure while allowing flexibility for complex organizational structures.
Flexible approval workflows
Configure signatory rules that define who must approve transactions based on parameters including account, amount, currency, and payment category. LYNKS supports multi-level approval with sequential or parallel signature collection, auto-approval for low-risk payments, and auto-rejection rules for prohibited transactions.
The platform provides multiple authentication methods for transaction signing, including LuxTrust digital certificates (eIDAS-compliant qualified electronic signatures), LYNKS mobile app with biometric support, and Single Sign-On integration with your corporate identity provider.
Comprehensive audit trail
Every action in LYNKS is logged with complete attribution, creating an immutable audit trail for compliance and security purposes. Track who created, modified, approved, or rejected each transaction, along with detailed timestamps and system events.
Configuration changes to tenant settings follow a four-eyes principle, requiring independent approval before taking effect. The change history feature provides transparency into who modified settings, what was changed, and when the modification occurred.
Feature flags and customization
LYNKS functionality is controlled through tenant-level feature flags that enable or disable specific capabilities based on your subscription and requirements. Feature flags control access to advanced features such as cash concentration, KYC screening, SEPA direct debit, and various integrations.
Contact customer support to enable feature flags for your tenant. Some features require additional configuration or integration setup beyond flag enablement.
Platform overview
LYNKS provides an intuitive interface designed for efficient financial operations across all features.
The platform uses two primary navigation systems: the sidebar navigation on the left side for accessing modules, and standardized table views for managing data across payments, accounts, counterparties, and transactions. All features follow consistent patterns, so once you learn one section, navigating other areas becomes intuitive.
For complete navigation details including the sidebar navigation, table customization, filters, search, and view management, see Platform Navigation - Detailed guide to the head-up display, table views, filters, and search functionality.
